That portion of the road known as interstate six hundred eighty, commencing at the intersection of state route number seven hundred eleven and extending in a southeasterly direction to the intersection with state route number seven within Mahoning county, shall be known as the "William Holmes McGuffey Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
