Volunteer firefighter or volunteer emergency medical services personnel tuition reimbursement

Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, any locality may by ordinance establish and administer a tuition reimbursement program for eligible volunteer firefighters or volunteer emergency medical services personnel, or both, for the purposes of recruitment and retention. 2003, c. 208 ; 2015, cc. 502 , 503 .
