Welfare and Institutions Code
“Contract hospital” means a nonprofit medical facility licensed pursuant to Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 1250) of Division 2 of the Health and Safety Code, with which the board of supervisors of a county which does not maintain a county hospital has executed a contract, currently in effect, to care for medically indigent individuals. (Amended by Stats. 1973, Ch. 142.)
