Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 14005.29

To the extent that federal matching funds are available, disabled persons who are otherwise eligible for benefits under this chapter, except for income due to employment, shall continue to be eligible to receive benefits for conditions excluded from coverage by a private insurer, provided those persons’ incomes do not exceed 200 percent of the income level for maintenance established pursuant to Section 14005.12.
