Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 14020

All sections of this chapter shall remain in operation during such times as grants-in-aid are provided or made available to the state on the basis of a state plan approved by the federal government for medical assistance pursuant to provisions of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended.
