Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 14103.7

The department shall develop procedure codes for durable medical equipment and orthotic and prosthetic equipment and services, to enable the fiscal intermediary to efficiently and expeditiously process claims for the equipment or services. For the purposes of this section, durable medical equipment, orthotics, and prosthetics shall include such equipment and accessories as the director may provide by regulation, as authorized by this chapter.
