Welfare and Institutions Code
As used in subdivisions (b) and (c) of Section 16501.1, a home or setting that is “safe” means that the home or setting is free from abuse or neglect, as described in Section 11165.5 of the Penal Code. (Added by Stats. 2003, Ch. 847, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 2004.)
