Welfare and Institutions Code
The department shall conduct a statewide independent evaluation of the program, assessing the program’s effectiveness in achieving stated outcomes as established by the department. The evaluation shall be performed only when for this purpose funds are appropriated in the annual Budget Act. (Amended by Stats. 2012, Ch. 728, Sec. 211. (SB 71) Effective January 1, 2013.)
