Unlawful possession of device, equipment or other material illegally manufactured, distributed, sold or serviced.

116. Unlawful possession of device, equipment or other material illegally manufactured, distributed, sold or serviced. Any person who possesses any device, equipment or material which he knows has been manufactured, distributed, sold, tampered with or serviced in violation of the provisions of this act is guilty of a crime of the fourth degree and subject to the penalties therefor, except that the amount of a fine may be up to $50,000, and in the case of a person other than a natural person, the amount of a fine may be up to $200,000.      L.1977, c.110, s.116; amended 1991, c.182, s.48; 2011, c.19, s.127.
