§ 6607. Time limits on settlements. In prison conditions litigation, a government party, including an elected official
who was not in office at the time of the execution of the consent decree, may petition
the court to modify or vacate the terms of the consent decree previously entered into.
The court shall have the power and authority to void or modify the consent decree
at any time upon a showing that, whether in whole or in part, it violates the provisions
of this act or for other cause.
