The Florida Quality Developments program

The Florida Quality Developments program. — (1) This section only applies to developments approved as Florida Quality Developments before April 6, 2018. (2) Following written notification to the state land planning agency and the appropriate regional planning agency, a local government with an approved Florida Quality Development within its jurisdiction must set a public hearing pursuant to its local procedures and shall adopt a local development order to replace and supersede the development order adopted by the state land planning agency for the Florida Quality Development. Thereafter, the Florida Quality Development shall follow the procedures and requirements for developments of regional impact as specified in this chapter.
