Repeal of certain charters

At the session of the General Assembly that follows the elections provided for in either § 15.2-3508 or § 15.2-3509 , the governing body of the resulting consolidated county, city or town shall request its delegate or senator in the General Assembly to introduce a bill to repeal all obsolete charters of the local governments that have been consolidated. 1997, c. 587.
