Recognition and awards. — In addition to expenditures separately authorized by law, the Department of Legal Affairs may expend no more than $20,000 annually to support costs associated with the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Recognition and Awards Program and the Victims Services Recognition and Awards Program.
