Prohibited local action; home rule

A unit of local government, including a home rule unit, may not take any action that would have the effect of impairing the public-private agreement under this Act. This Section is a denial and limitation of home rule powers and functions under subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution. (Source: P.A. 103-570, eff. 1-1-24.)
