Sec. 121.057. PRIOR DESIGNATIONS NOT AFFECTED. This subchapter does not affect the validity of a beneficiary designation made by an employee before April 3, 1975, that names a trustee as beneficiary of a death benefit. Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 3694, ch. 576, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1984.
