The juvenile court may order placement of the transferred juvenile in either a local correctional facility as approved by the State Board of Local and Regional Jails pursuant to the limitations of subsections D and E of § 16.1-249 or a juvenile detention facility. 1994, cc. 859 , 949 ; 1995, cc. 746 , 798 , 802 ; 2010, c. 739 ; 2020, c. 759 .
