PIPELINE SAFETY ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY: PAYMENT OF PENALTY

Sec. 121.208. PIPELINE SAFETY ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY: PAYMENT OF PENALTY. Not later than the 30th day after the date the railroad commission's decision or order imposing an administrative penalty becomes final as provided by Section 2001.144 , Government Code, the person charged with the violation shall: (1) pay the penalty in full; or (2) if the person seeks judicial review of either the amount of the penalty or the fact of the violation, or both: (A) pay the penalty to the railroad commission for placement in an escrow account; or (B) give to the railroad commission a supersedeas bond in a form approved by the railroad commission for the amount of the penalty that is effective until all judicial review of the order or decision is final.
