Sec. 101.156. OFFENSE; PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person violates Section 101.152 , 101.153 , 101.154 , or 101.155 . Each separate act of violation constitutes a separate offense. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by: (1) a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500; (2) confinement in jail for not more than 90 days; or (3) both the fine and confinement.
