Obligation of sentencing court pursuant to article four hundred of the penal law

§ 380.96 Obligation of sentencing court pursuant to article four hundred\n of the penal law.\n Upon judgment of conviction of any offense which would require the\nseizure of firearms, shotguns or rifles from an individual so convicted,\nand the revocation of any license or registration issued pursuant to\narticle four hundred of the penal law, the judge pronouncing sentence\nshall demand surrender of any such license or registration and all\nfirearms, shotguns and rifles. The failure to so demand surrender shall\nnot effect the validity of any revocation pursuant to article four\nhundred of the penal law.\n
