§ 6118.  Municipal police officer education and training. Beginning July 1, 2014, and each year thereafter, the sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated annually to the Pennsylvania State Police from the Motor License Fund to make payments under 53 Pa.C.S. § 2170 (relating to reimbursement of expenses) consistent with the requirements of section 11 of Article VIII of the Constitution of Pennsylvania. If money is not available to make full payments, the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission shall make payments on a pro rata basis.
