§ 1946.  Movements requiring special escort. When a special escort is required, as provided for in section 4962 (relating to conditions of permits and security for damages), the cost of the escort shall be paid by the permittee. The department, the Pennsylvania State Police and local authorities may establish schedules of fees for escort costs based on mileage or otherwise. (Dec. 21, 1998, P.L.1126, No.151, eff. imd.)
