May own stock in certain corporations. — Any association formed under this chapter may own or hold stock in any corporation organized under the laws of the state, if such corporation is organized, or conducts, or operates, its business, solely for the benefit or advancement of the interests of persons engaged in the production, preservation, drying, packing, bottling, shipping, or marketing of agricultural products as defined in s. 618.01 .
