JUDGMENT IN JUSTICE COURT

Sec. 12.015. JUDGMENT IN JUSTICE COURT. (a) On the application of a party interested in land that has been sold under an execution issued by a justice court, the justice of the peace having custody of the execution and the judgment under which it was issued shall make a certified transcript of the judgment, the execution, and the levy and return of the executing officer. (b) A certified transcript under this section may be recorded in the same manner as a deed. Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 3495, ch. 576, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1984.
