INITIATION OF REGULATORY PROCEEDING

Sec. 121.152. INITIATION OF REGULATORY PROCEEDING. The railroad commission shall exercise power under Section 121.151 : (1) on: (A) its own motion; (B) the petition of a person or county commissioner's precinct showing a substantial interest in the subject; (C) the petition of the attorney general; or (D) the petition of a district or county attorney of a county in which any portion of a business subject to this chapter is conducted; and (2) after notice has been given.
