§ 10302.  Hearing and decree. (a)  Date and publication.-- Upon presentation to the court of the petition and resolution under section 10301 (relating to resolution and petition), the court shall set a day for a hearing on the question of the change in the corporate title of the city and shall direct that notice of the hearing be published once a week for three weeks in a newspaper of general circulation. (b)  Testimony.-- A court shall permit a resident of the city to give testimony at the hearing in support of or in opposition to the change of the corporate title of the city. (c)  Order.-- A court shall order a change of the corporate title of the city in accordance with the petition and resolution of council or dismiss the petition. Cross References.
