§ 10302. Hearing and decree. (a) Date and publication.-- Upon presentation to the court of the petition and resolution under section 10301
(relating to resolution and petition), the court shall set a day for a hearing on
the question of the change in the corporate title of the city and shall direct that
notice of the hearing be published once a week for three weeks in a newspaper of general
circulation. (b) Testimony.-- A court shall permit a resident of the city to give testimony at the hearing in support
of or in opposition to the change of the corporate title of the city. (c) Order.-- A court shall order a change of the corporate title of the city in accordance with
the petition and resolution of council or dismiss the petition. Cross References. Section 10302 is referred to in section 10303 of this title.
