Grade and class standing calculation for certain career-technical courses

(A) As used in this section, "other high school" means any of the following that offers any of grades nine through twelve: (1) A community school established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code; (2) A STEM school established under Chapter 3326. of the Revised Code; (3) A chartered nonpublic school. (B) Each city, local, exempted village, and joint vocational school district and other high school that has students enrolled in courses that comply with the career-technical education credit transfer criteria, policies, and procedures established under section 3333.162 of the Revised Code shall adopt and implement a policy for the awarding of grades and the calculation of class standing for those courses. A district's or school's policy under this section shall be equivalent to the district's or school's policy for courses taken under the advanced standing programs described in divisions (A)(1) to (3) of section 3313.6013 of the Revised Code or for other courses designated as honors courses by the district or school, including procedures for awarding a weighted grade or enhancing a student's class standing for those courses.
