§ 1617. Fees. Fees relating to commercial drivers' licenses to be collected by the department under
this chapter shall be in addition to any other fees imposed under the provisions of
this title and are as follows: (1) The annual fee for a commercial driver's license designation shall be $15. (2) In addition to any other restoration fee required by this title, an additional restoration
fee of $100 shall be assessed and collected before reinstating a commercial driver's
operating privilege following a suspension or revocation under this title or disqualification
under this chapter. (3) If the commercial driving privilege of a driver is disqualified, a Class C noncommercial
or M license, if the driver possesses the motorcycle qualification, may be obtained
upon payment of the fees associated with obtaining a duplicate license. (4) An additional fee of $15 shall be imposed for the initial issuance or renewal of a
commercial driver's license with an "H" or "X" endorsement, in addition to the cost
of a criminal history background check as required by the USA Patriot Act of 2001
