5.   Any member of a board of education who falsely affirms or declares that he is not disqualified as a voter pursuant to R.S.19:4-1, or that he is not disqualified from membership on the board due to conviction of a crime or offense listed in N.J.S.18A:12-1, is, in addition to immediate disqualification for office, guilty of a crime of the fourth degree.      L.1987, c.328, s.5; amended 2005, c.154, s.1; 2011, c.72, s.3.
