Sec. 12.108. EXPENSES. In making an arrest, summoning a witness, and serving a process, the department is entitled to the same fee and mileage allowance as a sheriff. The fee is charged and collected in the same manner as sheriff's fees. Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1975.
