EXPENDITURES; LIMITS

Sec. 11.207. EXPENDITURES; LIMITS. (a) The department shall direct, by the terms of the contract or grant, how a nonprofit partner may spend any state money it receives. (b) A state employee may not directly spend or obligate a nonprofit partner's money. (c) A nonprofit partner may not spend state money to: (1) lobby or otherwise attempt to influence a member of the legislature; or (2) directly or indirectly attempt to influence legislation.
