Sec. 11.017. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The commission may appoint an executive director who is the chief executive officer of the department and performs its administrative duties. The director serves at the will of the commission. Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1975.
