DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

Sec. 1001.008. DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), for the purpose of carrying out its functions and duties, the board may accept a donation or contribution in any form, including real or personal property, money, materials, or services. (b) The board may not accept a donation or contribution from an entity or association of entities that it regulates. (c) The board by rule may delegate acceptance of donations or contributions under $500, or not otherwise required to be acknowledged in an open meeting, to the executive director.
