Sec. 13.002. DEVELOPMENT AND ACQUISITION OF OUTDOOR AREAS. The department may: (1) develop, operate, and maintain outdoor areas and facilities of the state; and (2) acquire land, water, and interests in land and water for outdoor recreation areas and facilities.
