Definitions. — For the purposes of this part, the following words and phrases have the meanings ascribed to them in this section: (1) “Receiving agency” means any department or agency of the Federal Government or a state government which receives an employee of another government under this part. (2) “Sending agency” means any department or agency of the Federal Government or a state government which sends any employee thereof to another government agency under this part.
