CLASSIFICATION OF OFFENSES

Sec. 12.403. CLASSIFICATION OF OFFENSES. (a) Offenses are designated as Parks and Wildlife Code misdemeanors or Parks and Wildlife Code felonies. (b) Misdemeanors are classified according to the relative seriousness of the offense into three categories: (1) Class A Parks and Wildlife Code misdemeanors; (2) Class B Parks and Wildlife Code misdemeanors; and (3) Class C Parks and Wildlife Code misdemeanors. (c) Section 12.41 , Penal Code, does not apply to classifications of offenses under this code. Added by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 267, art. 3, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
