CIVIL PENALTY

Sec. 101.121. CIVIL PENALTY. A labor union that violates a provision of this subchapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for each violation. The civil penalty may be recovered in the name of the state, acting through an enforcement officer, in a court of competent jurisdiction. Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
