Welfare and Institutions Code
Councils funded under this chapter shall be incorporated as nonprofit corporations, or established as independent organizations within county government, or comparably independent organizations as determined by the office. New or existing councils may apply for funds using a fiscal agent pending incorporation. (Added by Stats. 1989, Ch. 603, Sec. 1. Effective September 21, 1989.)
