Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 17720

The California Health and Human Services Agency shall designate a department to coordinate sources of funding and services not under the jurisdiction of the department which are available to children with special health care needs in order to maximize the health and social services provided to these children and avoid duplication of programs and funding.
