Neither the domicile nor residence of a spouse shall be deemed to be the domicile or residence of the other spouse, and each spouse shall establish his or her own domicile or residence dependent upon proof of the fact and not upon legal presumptions. (Amended by Stats. 1976, Ch. 1171.)
