Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 16556

Notwithstanding Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, the department and the State Department of Health Care Services may implement, interpret, or make specific this chapter, in whole or in part, by means of plan or county letters, information notices, plan or provider bulletins, or other similar instruction, without taking any further regulatory action. Any guidance issued pursuant to this section shall be issued on an ongoing basis during the pilot program implemented pursuant to this chapter. (Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 43, Sec. 81.
