Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 16512

(a) The department shall report every third year, commencing in 1989, to the Legislature on the operation and progress of the child welfare services program. (b) The report shall include both of the following: (1) The number of reported child abuse cases, on an aggregate basis and on a county-by-county basis, and by types of abuse. (2) The disposition of cases reported, on an aggregate basis and on a county-by-county basis. (Amended by Stats. 1988, Ch. 722, Sec. 3.)
