Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 14132aa

(a) Services provided by facilities licensed as congregate living health facilities to individuals diagnosed as having acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), are a covered benefit under this chapter, subject to utilization controls. (b) Congregate living health facilities shall be reimbursed for services covered by this section at a rate set by the department and the provision of those services shall be subject to audit. (c) This section shall be operative only to the extent that federal medicaid financial participation is made available pursuant to Subchapter XIX (commencing with Section 1396) of Title 42 of the United States Code.
