Application of trust code provisions to testamentary trusts

(A) Subject to division (B) of this section, the provisions of Chapters 5801. to 5811. of the Revised Code apply to testamentary trusts except to the extent that any provision of those chapters conflicts with any provision of Chapter 2109. of the Revised Code, or with any other provision of the Revised Code, that applies specifically to testamentary trusts and except to the extent that any provision of Chapters 5801. to 5811. of the Revised Code is clearly inapplicable to testamentary trusts. (B) Section 5808.13 of the Revised Code applies to testamentary trusts whether or not that section conflicts with any provision of Chapter 2109. of the Revised Code or any other provision of the Revised Code that applies specifically to testamentary trusts.
