Application for and acceptance of gifts and grants

The Authority is authorized to apply for, accept and expend gifts, grants or donations from public or private sources to enable it to carry out its objectives. Authority funds assigned to the Authority are approved for use as matching funds to the funds appropriated pursuant to the Cooperative Tourism Advertising Fund as administered by the Virginia Tourism Corporation and such other tourism grants and programs as may be created to assist communities and regional authorities. 2002, c. 791 .
