Agreement for providing educational service center services to community school

The governing authority of a community school established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code and the governing board of an educational service center may enter into an agreement, through adoption of identical resolutions, under which the service center board will provide services to the community school. Services provided under the agreement and the amount and manner in which the community school will pay for such services shall be mutually agreed to by the school's governing authority and the service center board, and shall be specified in the service agreement. If specified in the agreement as the manner of payment, the department of education and workforce shall pay the service center the amount due to it under the agreement and shall deduct that amount from the payments made to the community school under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code. Any agreement entered into under this section shall be valid only if a copy is filed with the department.
