Additional assessment; Wildlife Alert Reward Association, Inc. — (1) As used in this section, the term “convicted” or “conviction” means any judicial disposition other than acquittal or dismissal. (2) In addition to any other penalty provided by law, a court may order a person who is convicted of a violation of this chapter or of a rule or order of the commission to pay an assessment directly to Wildlife Alert Reward Association, Inc. (3) Wildlife Alert Reward Association, Inc., may pay a reward, from the funds assessed pursuant to subsection (2), to a person who provides information leading to the arrest of an individual or individuals for a violation of this chapter or of a rule or order of the commission.
