Sec. 111.025. ABANDONING CONNECTIONS. (a) No common carrier may abandon any of its connections or lines except under authority of a permit granted by the commission or with written consent of the owner or duly authorized agent of the wells to which connections are made. (b) Before granting a permit to abandon any connection, the commission shall issue proper notice and hold a hearing as provided by law. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2581, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff.
