Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 60, the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized to award contracts for the construction, reconstruction, alteration, remodeling, repair or demolition of public buildings for the State of Connecticut. Any party whose financial interests may be affected by a decision on a claim alleging a violation(s) of the contract bidding procedures set forth in Chapter 60 may file a petition with the Commissioner seeking a ruling on whether there has been a violation. The Department may also file a petition if it has reason to believe that there has been a violation or violations. (Effective March 31, 1992)
