05:02:03:27. Voter registration list maintenance confirmation notice. The form of the voter registration list maintenance confirmation mailing notice must comply with SDCL 12-4-19.7. The confirmation mailing postcard must be sent by forwardable mail to any voter in the active registration file who: (1) Has failed to vote and has not updated the voter's registration information in two general election cycles: or (2) Has filed a National Change of Address form with the United States Post Office for an address outside the jurisdiction.
