(a) Veterans' examination credit shall be allowed only if satisfactory proof of the status claimed is filed with the Commissioner of Administrative Services. Such proof shall be the usual certification by the authorized federal agency. (b) To establish eligibility due to disability the veteran must have been entitled to receive compensation for such disability. (c) Proof of eligibility due to disability from the Veterans Administration must be dated not more than six months prior to the date of submission or death of the veteran. (Effective January 18, 1984)
